Localisation of the interface (code and translations)
improve the lesson editing interface: fewer icons, make it possible to swap lines...
Add user preferences for what languages they want to see, etc...
improve wikicast generation to provide better timed silences, based on length of sound bits, level, etc...

develop a recording system that does not use .flv format, but rather Ogg/vorbis or Ogg/Speex?
add video capability to the system for visual languages (sign languages)
work on a distributed download system (peer to peer) so users can download groups of lessons without overloading the server
